::Beached whale bar.. WiFi Eeehh! Great spot to chill.. but it's all the corporate man, Go other direction to Jack's shack. Short walk better vibe and not high cruise ship prices ...ginger ale and chips and cheese 16.00 bucks , next stop getting out of the ccl. Grasps

::This bar/restaurant is actually called "beached whale" with a whale statue in the front. This place serves great mixed drinks - the pina colata and mango mixed drinks are great. They also serve much cheaper food compared to Marguritaville and other bars on the beach. They offer a large box of fries for $4 (can't beat that anywhere in the area).

::This place is quite convenient to the less populated beach areas at Grand Turk. That is the only thing good about it. It's a very buyer beware scenario. First, pay attention to the fine print on the menu. You are going to be charged 27% on top of what you order (12% government tax and 15% service charge, it's cash only...) And does not include any kind of tip you might want to order. Secondly, I very much recommend anyone to avoid consuming not provided to you in a container, such as bottled water (more on that in a moment). There is a HUGE fly infestation behind the bar and the grill which is in an open area on the back side of the building. Despite it being annoying, it's unsanitary as well (flies on the alcohol bottles and pouring nozzles). Back to the bottled water they sell. It's labeled Dasani. The label seems to be a poor reproduction of a Dasani label. I understand it was probably produced in the Bahamas as the label says, but there was limited reference to the Coca-Cola brand typically found on a typical bottle of Dasani found in the states. Lastly, if you want to run a tab, be prepared to have your cruise ship card held hostage until you pay up and hopefully you get yours back and not someone else's by accident and don't get me started about the lack of customer service (which I'm assuming I paid 15% of my bill towards).

::Listed as South Beach Bar on Google but it is Beached Whale. Great food and drinks, nice setting on the beach. Only open when a cruise ship is in.
